Kenpo Kids BELT TESTING
Students in the Kenpo Kid program will have the opportunity to participate in belt promotions bi-monthly in the months of January, March, May, July, September, & November.
After earning all three progress check stripes; red, white & blue, they will be awarded their new belt at the next belt promotion month in their regularly scheduled group classes.
Kenpo Juniors & Seniors
Kenpo Juniors and Seniors (under black belt) may test for their next rank three times a year: March, July, and November.
Students must earn all three progress check stripes—red, white, and blue—before being eligible.
Promotions are awarded during regular group classes in the corresponding months.
Junior Black Belts TESTING
Junior Black Belts are eligible to advance to the next black belt level once a year—March, July, or November.
Invitations to test are issued four months in advance of the target test date and include:​​

Senior Black Belts must meet the minimum time-in-grade and complete the required training to be eligible for advancement.
