Belt Promotions
Kenpo Kids
Students in the Kenpo Kid program will have the opportunity to participate in belt promotions bi-monthly in the months of January, March, May, July, September, & November. After earning all three progress check stripes; red, white & blue, they will be awarded their new belt at the next belt promotion month in their regularly scheduled group classes.
Kenpo Juniors & Seniors
The Junior & Senior under black belt students can earn their next belt 3x yearly in the months of March, July and November. After earning all three progress check stripes; red, white & blue, they will be awarded their next belt at the new belt promotion month in their regularly scheduled group classes.
Junior Black Belts
Junior Black Belts are eligible to receive their next level of black belt yearly in the months of March, July & November. They will be issued an invitation 4 months prior to their targeted best test date. With their invitation, they will also receive additional information regarding fees, Black Belt test schedule as well as reading and essay assignments.
Senior Black Belts
Senior Black Belts are eligible to receive their next level of black belt after diligent training and minimum time in grade is achieved in the months of March, July & November. They will be issued an invitation 4 months prior to their targeted best test date. With their invitation, they will also receive additional information regarding fees, Black Belt test schedule as well as reading and essay assignments.
